Home Comfort is happy to provide our customers with the peace of mind and reliability a Comfort Plan provides. We offer two different Comfort Plans: A Basic Plan and a Platinum Plan. Both plans provide:

  • Twice yearly visits to perform a cleaning and preventative check of all covered equipment.
  • Savings on each piece of equipment enrolled in the plan.
  • Reminders to schedule your checks with friendly phone & e-mail messages seasonally.
  • Priority scheduling of your Clean & Check visit, and service appointments when available.

So no matter which plan you choose, you can relax knowing you are maintaining your applicable warranties, saving costs, and increasing the reliability of your systems. We perform a cleaning and inspection to include the following:

  • Record current thermostat setting.
  • Call for heat at the thermostat.
  • Ensure ignition and blower turn on for 30 seconds.
  • Check for proper combustion.
  • Check for CO in the flue.
  • Check for CO in the room.
  • Check for combustible materials present near furnace.
  • Ensure flue is open.
  • Check for gas leaks at the furnace.
  • Clean and inspect burners.
  • Clean and inspect heat-exchanger.
  • Check for cracks in heat-exchanger.
  • Clean the flame sensor.
  • Clean and inspect the pilot assembly.
  • Test ignitor.
  • Clear all pressure switch hoses and ports.
  • Clear all condensate hoses and trap in the furnace.
  • Check voltage and amperage of the IDM.
  • Check voltage and amperage of the blower motor.
  • Test blower capacitor.
  • Vacuum and wipe down inside and outside cabinet.
  • Check air filter.
  • Record supply temperature reading.
  • Record return temperature reading.
  • Test operation of inspected furnace.

We perform a cleaning and inspection to include the following:
