If you’re looking for the A/C Clean & Check ComEd Rebate… you’ve come to the right place!
- You’ll need to have your ComEd Account Number available. Look it up on a recent bill or in your online account. We cannot help you with this.
- You will need to know the make, model, serial, BTU & SEER rating of the Air Conditioner. If you don’t know, you can grab a picture of the data plate outside on the A/C. Or call us! We might have those details or can try to look them up for you if you can send us the photograph. We’re happy to help.
- You’ll need to have a digital copy of your paid Invoice from Home Comfort during this current cooling season showing the completed A/C Clean & Check. NOTE: If your copy of the invoice does not have the model, serial number, and equipment installation date recorded, please e-mail [email protected] with a request for a revision, and we will email it to you.
- Once you have the information required, plan to spend about 10 minutes online with ComEd. You will access the Heating and Cooling Rebates page by visiting here.
- Click on the Central Air Conditioner Tune Up‘s button on the left side to begin. You’ll then see a Rebate Description field pop up on the top right side of the page and the blue “Apply for Rebate” button- with a quantity “1” right above it. Look for this field- it’s sort of hard to find. Not the best design by ComEd- but it does work.
- Go through the steps to create a Rebate Account. Not the same as your ComEd account where you pay your bill- just an FYI.
- Submit the requested information including account holder info, account number, equipment details, and cleaning checklist. YES- we’ve done those items for you!
- Upload the Paid Invoice from Home Comfort in the “Upload Document” page, and then e-sign, and submit.
- Once it’s gone through, you’ll see the Status page with the application number, and that it’s “Under Review.”
- Great job! A few minutes of time and a few dollars saved with each approved rebate.
